Electrolux 169120 Description
The Electrolux Professional 169120 (AGG24) EMPower Restaurant Range Charbroiler is a mid-sized unit with two (2) burners each producing 33,000 BTU for a total of 66,000 BTU. This Commercial Charbroiler is part of the EMPower lineup from Electrolux Professional and is designed to be used with other EMPower units. The EMPower line is made up of modular equipment allowing operators to choose what they need in their kitchen and assemble the units they need in the layout they want.
The unit features heavy-duty double-sided cast iron radiants that provide the indistinguishable markings and taste that charbroiling adds to food. The radiants are in 6” sections allowing for easy removal and cleaning. Below the radiants is a stainless steel heat spreader for uniform heat distribution. The heat spreader also prevents dripping grease from falling into the burner which causes flareups and results in a clogged burner.
A full-width grease gutter at the front of the unit leads to two (2) full-length grease collection drawers that each provide a ½-gallon of grease capacity. The drawers feature holes to show when they’re full and the drawer is easily accessible from the front of the unit.
The grates, radiant covers, splashback, grease gutter, and stainless steel burner can be removed without tools for simple cleaning and maintenance. The grease drawer can be filled with water to expedite the cleaning process. The Electrolux Professional 169120 (AGG24) EMPower Restaurant Range Charbroiler features a flame failure device that protects against the accidental extinguishing of the burners.
Two (2) heavy-duty chrome plated temperature control knobs turn smoothly through their range for precise temperature control. The sides and front of this unit are made of stainless steel with a Scotch Brite finish which is simple to maintain and will last many years in a commercial environment. The unit stands on removable 4” legs that are height adjustable. The overall measurements of this unit are 24-1/32” in width, 31-½” front-to-back, and 18-⅜” in height.
This unit is shipped configured to use natural gas and comes with a conversion kit to use liquid propane. A pressure regulator and main shut off valve come standard with this unit.
