The IDT1830C is the large QuietQube head: 30"W x 24-1/2"D x 29-1/2"H, rated to 1,771 lb of full-dice cubes per 24 hours at 70°/50° and 1,500 lb AHRI certified at 90°/70°. Refrigeration is remote, so a condensing unit and line set are ordered alongside it.

What makes this one unusual is the ratio. It puts out roughly the same ice as a 48" self-contained machine while occupying a 30" footprint, because none of the cabinet is given over to a compressor and condenser fan. Where floor space is the binding constraint — a narrow service corridor, a bar back with a fixed run of equipment — that is often the deciding argument, well ahead of the quieter operation the QuietQube name points at.

Budget for the install accordingly: the condensing unit has to be sited, the line run kept within Manitowoc's stated maximum, and a refrigeration contractor brought in to commission the system.
