The thermostatic controls on the VCRG48-T Griddle from Vulcan make it simple to griddle food accurately while making it easy to get repeatable results. This 48” wide countertop model is designed for medium-duty use and can keep up with the demands of busy commercial kitchens. U-shaped burners apply even heat to the 1” thick polished steel griddle plate which provides plenty of thermal mass to keep the temperature of the cooking surface consistent without hot or cold spots.

This griddle has four control knobs that allow the temperature to be set from 200°F to 450°F allowing for cooking zones with the temperatures you need. The four U-shaped aluminized steel burners each consume 25,000 BTU/hr and are spaced 12” apart to evenly apply heat to the griddle plate.

Stainless steel on the front, sides, and front top ledge makes it easy to wipe down the exterior of the griddle and makes sure it maintains its looks for many years. Internally, the chassis is made from fully welded aluminized steel for durability. Grease and crumbs that accumulate on the cooking surface are easily removed and stored in a 4-½ qt. can. To empty the grease can it is simple to remove from the front of the griddle.

To make keeping this griddle level on a counter simple it comes on adjustable 4” legs. The cooking height of this model is 12-½”
