Globe SP40 Description
The SP40 Planetary Mixer has a 42-quart capacity stainless steel bowl with a gear-driven, high torque transmission featuring heat-treated and hardened steel gears and shafts to reliably transfer the 2 HP the custom motor provides. This model makes easy work of any mixing task with a variety of ingredients. The durable cast iron construction of the body will make sure this floor mixer will be up and running for many years without issue. Included with this floor mixer are an Aluminum flat beater, Aluminum spiral dough hook, and a stainless steel wire whip. The bowl guard is made from durable stainless steel and features a fully welded ingredient chute and an interlock to stop the unit when the guard is opened. The bowl guard is removable for easy cleaning. For easy use, an interlocked bowl lift is included.
Additional accessories can be attached to this floor mixer through its industry-standard #12 PTO hub. Digital controls on the front of the unit make for easy operation with a 60-minute timer and last-batch recall.
This floor mixer features a powerful 2 HP custom-built motor available in two power configurations 220/60/1-ph at 12.0 amps and 208/60/3-ph at 7.0 amps.
