The Globe C12HT Chefmate™ 12" Hot Plate is a compact gas-powered countertop unit with twin burners with a maximum combined thermal output of 50,000 BTU/hr. For the best heat distribution heavy-duty cast iron grates are used allowing for easy management of cookware on the cooktop. For ease of use, an extended front edge is cool-to-touch which also enhances users’ safety. The djustable front-accessible pilots for each burner on these Commercial Hotplates are simple to use.

The body of the unit is made from durable stainless steel which is easy to clean and will last for many years in a commercial environment. A full-length catch tray provides complete coverage under both burners to catch all debris for simplified cleaning. Stainless steel legs provide access below the hot plate for easy wipe down.

This hot plate is configured to use natural gas from the factory and includes a conversion kit for liquid propane that can be quickly installed by an authorized globe technician.
