Both companies grew and played roles in the food service equipment manufacturing industry. In 1949 both companies joined together to form the modern company Vulcan-Hart. Today, Vulcan is among the top manufacturers of restaurant equipment such as gas ranges, electric ranges, ovens, steam equipment, fryers, griddles, hot plates, broilers, cheesemelters, holding and transport cabinets.
