Univex PM91G Description
The Univex PM91G Prep-Mate™ Power Drive Unit provides a platform for attaching accessories that fit a #12 Power Take Off Hub (PTO). This unit can be used with the ALMFC12 Meat and Food Grinder, VS9 Vegetable Slicer Attachment or VS9H Grater/Shredder Attachment. To make prep tasks as quickly as fast as possible, Commercial Cutters & Shredders are a great option for operators.
This power drive unit features a powerful 1 HP motor that spins at 1,740 RPM, 7:1 reduction gearing maximizes torque being delivered to the drive shaft by a ribbed poly-V belt. Friction loss at the drive shaft is minimized with ball bearings in the PTO housing. The PTO powers devices at 250 RPM.
A 5” deep prep container, with a cover, come standard with this unit. However, this specific model has extended legs allowing for the use of larger prep containers. The unit is switched on and off with a double-pole rocker switch on the front panel and includes a removable key to prevent unauthorized operation.
The exterior is made from thick 10 gauge steel with a powder coat finish. This makes the unit easy to clean and will remain in excellent condition even after many years of operation. The footprint of this device is 20” front-to-back and 10-½” in width without the prep container. WIth the prep container, the device’s footprint is 22” wide and 33” front-to-back.
The Univex PM91G Prep-Mate™ Power Drive Unit uses standard 115v/60/1-ph power through a NEMA 5-15P cord and plug. At full load, this unit draws 11.5 amps.
