A very sturdy and well-made cutter from Nemco. A commercial-type machine but I bought for use at home. I find that they last longer than home-type ones. It's pricey but it's worth the money as it performs well and cuts through potatoes perfectly. It's very easy to clean too. One thing is if you purchase one of these you have to mount it to a base or surface with screws.

This is a great slicer that makes great curly fries. We had a Nemco spiral cutter for our restaurant before this, we've used it so much that the handle finally broke down. This new one we bought was a replacement. You can get separate parts though not directly from Nemco. A lot of stores online offer them.

This is our second slicer from Globe and so far, it's exceptional. It slices with amazing speed and feels really solid as well. It's also very compact so it's easy to find a spot for it on the counter. We weren't worried about spending more on this particular slicer because of the amazing experience we had with the old Globe model, which we've been using 10+ years

Works great for fruits and vegetables. Cuts fast, blades are very sharp. Using it for making beverages mainly, it’s been fantastic! The parts are easily moved and cleaned. Great tool for any bar or restaurant!

It makes very uniform and even tomato slices but if you use ripe tomatoes for this machine the slices will come out so messy and little pieces get stuck in the blade. It's better to use more firm types of tomato for this kind of machine.

I really love this tomato slicer. Though I don't use this machine for tomatoes. I use it for citrus fruits, and it works just as great! This slicer might be much better to use than a good mandolin, I've tried it before and the slices don't come out very nice. Meanwhile this machine makes absolutely perfect slices!
