My previous icemaker was a Manitowoc it provided excellent service for 20 years. So when it was time to replace my icemaker I chose Manitowoc and I would recommend this product to everyone. The engineer, design and quality of material is excellent and obvious.

Finally bought a new ice machine after my old one broke down after several years of using it. Scotsman has been around for a while, I have actually bought commercial machines from them back in the day and I'm happy to find out that the quality of their products has only been even better since then. Installing it was easy. I didn't encounter any problems when I turned it on, and in a short amount of time there was a lot of large and clear ice coming out of the bin. The noise is okay, it's only there when ice drops out on an empty bin. The high quality of the ice makes up for it anyway, the ice is larger and clearer than the ice produced in my last machine.

This ice machine makes such great , crystal-clear ice cubes. It's so much better than my old icemaker. The Scotsman is a commercial model so it has higher quality ice and less pricey than a consumer model. Only thing is it's quite loud when ice comes out in the bin when it starts out empty.

We've never had an ice machine in our company before so this was such a great buy! The staff is always in need of lots of ice for big events and parties. The job is easier now that the ice is just there in arm's reach.

For undercounter units, the price was good. The size of this ice machine is just right. It fit right in in the small space in the kitchen. The ice cubes are a nice size. Install was pretty easy.

Bought this ice machine as replacement for our old one. That one was a smaller version and it just wasn't making enough ice than necessary. This new one makes so much ice and fast. Though for me it's missing a scoop mount. But the machine itself works great.

I've had ice machines from other brands for a while and this time I wanted to try a Scotsman one. I'm liking it better so far. Bin gets nicely filled with ice. The door on it is smoother. The install is a little difficult for the average person, would probably need a little professional help. Cleaning it is an okay job as long as you read the instructions.

Never had an ice maker before but always wanted to buy one. So, made our choice on this compact design. The installation was quick. It works a little noisy but as we have nothing to compare it to, I think it must be fine.

We have this Manitowoc model in our senior center now. It’s absolutely fantastic. I’d say it’s kinda noisy but I guess that’s the way ice machines work, so it might be ok. The ice is of a very good quality.

The ice machine is amazing. We’ve been using it for 20 months so far and it works great. There were some doubts how often we should clean it but with time we figured out that once in 3 weeks would be ok. Anyway, we clean it every week, just to ensure drain doesn't clog for the ice maker to last longer.

I do recommend this Manitowoc model. It makes ice a bit slower than the one we had for our restaurant before but the greatest advantage is that the working voice is very low.

We had some initial issues, but now it works great. I can't give more than 3 stars for two reasons. Firstly, the initial issue I mentioned before was that the ice maker didn't produce the ice. Secondly, we had troubles with Manitowoc because they refused to take care of the bills and I wasted a lot of time arguing with them (after long arguments they covered the expenses)

Just enjoying this ice maker! Ice cubes aren't too small and melt too fast. They come out quickly. The number of cocktails sold has increased since we got this ice maker. It should be noted that our space is quite limited but the ice maker is compact and fits perfectly.

I used to have the 15-inch machine but it failed. I was surprised to find out that this Manitowoc machine costs only a few hundred dollars more. However, you need some free space for this unit. It perfectly fits my summer home. It was quite easy to install this unit and it works exactly like it's presented on the website.

For a month now, the machine is working great with no problem so far. Though it's a bit loud compared to our previous machine, it is not a big deal because you get used to it after a while. I added a filter to our water line to ensure that this machine gives us clear and safe ice whenever we need one. Great product with great price. Thank you guys.

This model has low and slim design; just exactly what I wanted to fit under the counter, as I’m lack of space in my kitchen. That’s the major reason to purchase it anyway. The ice machine does its job good as advertised. I like the ice levels. It would be great if it came with an exterior scoop holster, keeping the scoops in the bin is not a good idea. Ice can be a bit melted sometimes.
