The BB48HC-1-F-PT-S-27 Refrigerated Pass-Thru Food Rated Back Bar from Beverage Air is an excellent option if you want a refrigerated back bar storage solution that does more than just keep beverages cool. This pass-thru unit has two doors on either side giving users quick access to contents. Whether it’s for serving or restocking, these doors make the task faster. The durable stainless steel top provides a sturdy platform for additional workspace. This unit provides 13.6 cu. ft. of food rated cold storage and can hold a pair of ½ kegs.
The open food certified interior features stainless steel construction which is easy to clean. To keep the doors from being left open accidentally, they have a self-closing feature. To keep everything inside organized the unit comes with a total of four epoxy-coated wire shelves. To free up users’ hands when accessing multiple items from the refrigerator the doors have a stay-open feature. A magnetic door gasket is included to make sure when the doors are closed the seal is airtight. Forced-air refrigeration allows this unit to rapidly cool products in a balanced fashion to get them nice and cool and ready to serve.
The side-mounted refrigerator houses a ⅓ HP compressor that produces 1942 BTU/hr of cooling. Depending on your needs, the compressor can be installed on either the right or left side. A temperature between 36ºF and 38ºF is maintained efficiently by the unit’s fully electronic controls. For additional durability, the evaporator features an epoxy coating. Environmentally-friendly R290 refrigerant provides efficient cooling while meeting all environmental regulations. Automatic non-electric defrosting makes sure there’s very little downtime while keeping the inside from frosting over.
An 8’ power cord comes factory-wired on this unit with a NEMA 5-15P plug set to connect it to a standard 115v/60/1-ph power outlet that can safely deliver 3.1 amps.
