The Beverage Air FB49HC-1G Freezer features two glass doors that make it a great option as a self-serve merchandiser or a back-counter unit that allows customers to see what’s available. With 46.2 cu. ft. of storage, this unit has plenty of space for items in a package that business owners can rely on.

The painted aluminum interiors are painted grey and lit with efficient LED lighting that will last for many years and keep the interior cool. Six epoxy-coated wire shelves provide plenty of space to organize items and maximize the usable space. Both doors have their own anti-microbial handles that allow users to access items easily while providing an additional layer of sanitation. The doors also have a stay-open feature which is handy when users need to access multiple items, this feature is activated when the doors are opened to 120º.

The self-contained refrigeration system at the bottom of the unit makes it easy to access for service and raises the bottom sections from the ground. The ¾ HP compressor produces 2312 BTU/hr of cooling. The epoxy-coated evaporator in this model makes sure that a temperature below 0ºF is maintained efficiently and reliably. Fully electronic controls keep power consumption and stress on the refrigeration system to a minimum. Eco-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant has a low impact on the environment while meeting all regulations for safe, sustainable cooling. The automatic defrost cycle is electric and eliminates downtime.

For convenience Beverage Air normally ships this unit on 6” casters allowing it to be moved easily. It can also be ordered with 3” casters or 6” legs without an increase to its price. Connecting this unit to a standard outlet supplying 115v/60/1-ph power at 11.0 amps is simple with the factory-provided 8-foot power cable with a NEMA 5-15P plug set.
