Dependable refrigeration is essential for any commercial kitchen and the HBR23HC-1 Horizon Series Refrigerator from Beverage Air is a solid investment that will prevent spoilage and maintain food safety for many years. This unit is designed to hold up to 23.1 cu. ft. of food.

Food is stored on four epoxy-coated wire shelves that maximize the available space. The interior liner is made from stainless steel for easy cleaning and maintenance and everything is lit with dependable LED lighting that stays cool. The interior is accessed through an anti-microbial handle that swiftly opens the stainless steel door. A self-closing feature and plug-in magnetic gasket make sure that it is never left ajar and maintain a cold temperature while minimizing power costs. When accessing multiple items the door can be opened to 120º and it will remain open allowing users to use both hands.

The self-contained refrigeration system at the bottom of the unit saves on space while keeping access to items higher to keep users from needing to bend over too far when accessing items. It uses a ¼ HP compressor that produces 1480 BTU/hr of cooling. Food inside the refrigerator is kept between 36ºF and 38ºF to maximize the shelf life. This temperature is maintained with full electronic control for efficiency. An epoxy-coated evaporator coil will make sure efficient cooling will be maintained reliably for many years. To keep the refrigeration system running as efficiently as possible while minimizing downtime an automatic non-electric defrost cycle is used by this unit. R290 Hydrocarbon refrigerant is used for efficient cooling that doesn’t harm the environment.

The unit conveniently comes with 6” casters from the factory, this allows it to be easily moved into and out of place. The front casters are locking which keeps it in place when it’s in use. Power is supplied to the unit with a factory wired 8-foot power cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug set to connect it to a standard outlet that provides 115v/60/1-ph power at 3.0 amps.
