To store a large number of frozen goods efficiently and safely an indoor walk-in freezer like the KLB87612-C 6' x 12' x 8'-7" H Kold Locker from Nor-Lake is the best option. 

The 4” thick panels that make up this walk-in have an R-value of 25. This is accomplished with foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation between the 26 gauge interior and exterior sides that feature a corrosion-resistant embossed stucco finish. Assembling a Kold Locker walk-in is simple with each panel featuring female and male rails that mate together. Once mated together the panels are fully tightened with foamed-in-place cam locks which assure an airtight connection. The corners are kept sealed with panel gaskets that go around the outer perimeter without any breaks or cuts. The ceiling and floor panels on this unit have edge caps that are foamed-in-place rather than mechanically fastened to prevent them from coming loose.

To prevent the passage of air. when the standard 26” wide door is closed, the door has a stepped profile. This provides a mechanical barrier that allows the internal temperature to be maintained efficiently.  Two cam-lift hinges are included with the door and can be installed on the right or left. These hinges are field-adjustable to make sure the door swings freely while providing an airtight seal. A spring-assisted door closer is included to keep the door from being left ajar. The door is pre-hung in a 4-foot wide panel and features a magnetic stainless steel trim, digital thermometer, replaceable perimeter heating wire, and vapor proof LED light fixture actuated by a switch with external indicator light. Everything inside the walk-in is kept secure by an NL 9800 deadbolt handle with an independent key/padlock feature. To keep workers safe, a safety release inside the door panel makes sure no-one gets locked inside.

A temperature between 35°F and 38°F is efficiently maintained by the ceiling-mounted RCPB075JC-S-4-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration System that produces 6250 BTU/hr of heat rejection. The Enviro-Control™ system allows the interior temperature to be set and maintained efficiently. The controller is also used to set the defrost timer and activate a manual defrost cycle. To eliminate the need for drain lines, a condensate vaporizer is included.
