I'm glad I got this food slicer. It's probably one of the best slicers to ever grace my kitchen and certainly my favorite among the ones I tried from other brands. I've only been using it for a year and it's still as good as it was since I got it. I can get the proper thickness for each product every time, even with prosciutto. It is very safe to use, there are a lot of excellent safety design elements incorporated in the unit that I appreciate so much. It can also accommodate large cuts of meat and cheese and makes them easy to work with. Blades are very sharp and the machine doesn't make noise when working. The slicer is not at all a nightmare to clean.
