The refrigerated section features a sturdy door that comes standard with a lock for security and has a self-closing mechanism to keep it from being left ajar. Inside the open food certified stainless steel interior are two epoxy-coated wire shelves to organize items making them easier to find. In a busy kitchen, users will often need to access multiple items from a refrigerator. To simplify this the door has a stay-open feature. When the door is closed a magnetic gasket makes sure the seal is completely airtight. The forced-air refrigeration system provides balanced cooling that can quickly make the mercury plummet.

At the heart of the refrigeration system is a ¼ HP compressor producing 1702 BTU/hr, the compressor can be installed on the right or left side of the unit. To keep food safe the temperature inside is maintained between 36ºF and 38ºF by the fully electronic controls. An epoxy-coated evaporator coil makes sure efficient cooling will be provided for many years with minimal service. Defrosting is accomplished automatically with a non-electric system, this eliminates downtime while keeping the interior free of frost. The refrigerant used is R290, an environmentally-friendly hydrocarbon that meets all environmental regulations and has a minimal negative impact on the atmosphere.

An 8’ power cord comes factory-wired on this unit with a NEMA 5-15P plug set to connect it to a standard 115v/60/1-ph power outlet that can safely deliver 2.5 amps.
