For operations that require a streamlined prep table the SPED60HC-12-4 Elite Series™ Sandwich Top Refrigerated Counter from Beverage Air is a great option. A dozen 1/6 pans with fresh ingredients are kept nice and cool while additional items can be stored in the four refrigerated undercounter drawers. The drawer sections below the worktop offer 16.02 cu. ft. of storage space and are designed to hold pans up to 6" deep for storing larger amounts of prepped food.

The worktop consists of a cutting board that runs the full width of the unit providing plenty of space to do prep work. The cutting board is easily removed for cleaning. The refrigerated pan storage area does not run the full width of the work area providing space for sauces and ingredients that don’t need refrigeration. The pans included with this refrigerated counter are made from durable, easy-to-clean white polyethylene plastic. The refrigerated pan storage doesn't occupy the whole worktop providing a bit of of space for additional items such as sauces or ingredients that don't require refrigeration.

The temperature inside the drawers is constantly maintained to be between 36º and 38ºF to maximize the shelf life of food. Stainless steel frames are used to support the telescoping drawer slides for effortless access to ingredients. The drawers feature slides with a locking mechanism to prevent them from being pulled out of the cabinet accidentally.

At the bottom of the unit is the refrigeration system, this bottom-mounted design saves space and provides efficient cooling. The self-contained refrigeration system has a ⅓ HP compressor that provides 1549 BTU/hr of cooling with hydrocarbon-based R290 refrigerant which is compliant to all modern environmental codes. The refrigeration system features full electronic control to efficiently control the temperature and a condensate evaporator that eliminates the need for a floor drain.

This unit is configured to use standard 115v/60/1-ph power and comes with an eight-foot power cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug set.
