The SPED72HC-24M-4 Elite Series™ Mega Top Refrigerated Counter from Beverage Air provides users with an ergonomic workspace that allows for streamlined and efficient workflow. With two-dozen ⅙ pans in two cold bunker, frequently used prep ingredients are easy to access while four refrigerated undercounter drawers and a reach-in section can hold larger items. The drawers and reach-in offer of 20.0 cu. ft. of storage. Full-size pans up to 6" deep can be stored in the drawers while epoxy-coated steel wire shelves are included to maximize the useable space.

The worktop features a full-width polyethylene cutting board that provides an edge to edge workspace. This provides plenty of space to work on salads and sandwiches without taking up any more space than necessary. The cutting board can be removed for maintenance or cleaning. Ingredients and condiments in the countertop bunker are kept between 41°F and 33°F with optimized airflow to maximize shelf life. 

The refrigerated reach-in section features a corrosion-resistant aluminum interior that is easy to clean and will last for many years. Two epoxy-coated wire shelves are included to organize the contents. A temperature between 36º and 38ºF is easily maintained with limited power use thanks to the self-closing door and removable gaskets. However, the door can remain open when opened to 120˚ when accessing multiple items that require two free hands. 

The drawers feature slides with a locking mechanism to prevent them from being pulled out of the cabinet accidentally. Stainless steel frames are used to support the telescoping drawer slides for effortless access to ingredients. The temperature inside the drawers is constantly maintained between 36º and 38ºF to keep food as fresh as possible.

A self-contained refrigeration system located at the base of this unit utilizes a  ⅓ HP compressor with 1549 BTU/hr of cooling capacity. R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant is used for efficient cooling that meets all environmental regulations. Automatic defrosting is provided with a non-electric system.

This unit is configured to use standard 115v/60/1-ph power and comes with an eight-foot power cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug set.
