Globe SP25 Description
The SP25 Planetary Mixer from Globe is a bench model featuring a 25-quart stainless steel bowl and a ¾ HP custom-built motor. Power is efficiently delivered through a high-torque transmission with heat-treated hardened steel alloy shafts and gears. The transmission is permanently lubricated for extended reliability. To prevent the motor from damage, thermal overload protection will shut the unit down if it begins to overheat. The mixer has three fixed agitator speeds: 101 RPM 185 RPM and 355 RPM.
For convenience, a standard #12 PTO hub is included at the front of accessories such a vegetable slicer. The PTO runs off the same three-speed transmission and runs at 57 RPM, 105 RPM, and 202 RPM. The front-mounted control panel features touchpads and includes last-batch recall and a 60-minute timer.
The removable bowl guard is easy to clean and features an interlock for safety and a welded ingredient chute makes adding extra ingredients simple without stopping operation.
This bench mixer uses standard 115v/60/1-ph power at 11.0 amps and comes with a 6-foot power cord that terminates in a NEMA 5-15P plug.
