Globe SP80PL Description
The Globe SP80PL 80 Quart Mixer is a floor-standing model with an 80 qt stainless steel bowl and a powered bowl lift. The unit is powered by a custom-built 3 HP motor and utilizes a high-torque gear-driven transmission that keeps cool and lubricated in an oil bath. The shafts and gears in the transmission are made from hardened steel alloy and heat-treated for maximum dependability. There are four fixed speeds 60 RPM, 105 RPM, 176 RPM, and 310 RPM. An automatic safety shutoff protects the motor and transmission should the system get overloaded.
This floor mixer comes with an industry-standard #12 PTO hub for attaching and powering accessories such as a shredder, meat grinder, or vegetable slicer. The PTO is powered by the same transmission and has 4 speeds, 67 RPM, 118 RPM, 198 RPM, and 349 RPM.
At the top of the unit is an easy-to-use touch pad control panel with a 60-minute digital timer.
This floor mixer uses 208/60/3-ph power and draws 12.0 amps of current.
