The Nor-Lake KLB84812-C 8' x 12' x 8'-4" H Kold Locker is an extremely dependable floorless cooler with 8’4” of height designed for indoor use. This unit provides plenty of refrigerated space that your establishment can rely on.

To provide the best insulation, each panel is 4” thick. The exterior and interior sides of the panel are made from 26 gauge steel with a corrosion-resistant embossed stucco finish. Inside each panel, EPA-compliant polyurethane insulation keeps the heat at bay. The panels have male and female rails that mate together to ensure proper alignment during installation. Foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners provide an air-tight seal while a continuous panel gasket goes around the outer perimeter without breaks or cuts at the corners. The edge caps on the ceiling panels are not overlapped or mechanically fastened, instead, they are foamed-in-place so they don’t come loose.

The standard door that comes with this unit is 26” wide and can be replaced with the optional 30” wide door kit with a stainless steel kick plate with no additional cost. The door features a stepped profile to provide a barrier against airflow for increased energy-efficiency. The door is mounted on two cam-lift hinges that can be installed on the left or right of the unit. The hinges are field-adjustable to adjust how the door hangs for smooth opening and closing and can be locked in with a set screw. A spring-actuated door closer is included to make sure the door is never left ajar. The 4-foot wide door panel comes with the door pre-hung and includes a vapor-proof LED lighting fixture activated by a switch connected to an external indicator light, replaceable heating wire, stainless steel trim, and a digital thermometer. To keep items inside secure, an NL 9800 deadbolt handle is included with an independent key/padlock feature. To prevent lock-ins there is a safety release inside.

Cooling is provided by a ceiling-mounted RCPB100JC-S-4-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration System producing 8484 BTU/hr that will maintain a temperature from 35°F to 38°F efficiently.  To control the temperature precisely the Capsule Pak refrigeration unit comes with the Enviro-Control™ electronic controller. This electronic control is used to set the temperature, defrost timer, and can also be used to manually defrost the unit. A condensate vaporizer is included with the unit (shipped loose and requires field wiring) to eliminate the need for a drain line.
