The interior and exterior sides of the 4" panels that make up this walk-in are made from 26 gauge steel finished with a corrosion-resistant embossed stucco coating. The space between the steel panels is filled with foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation with an R-Value of 25. The lightweight and durable panels feature male and female mating rails to ensure alignment while foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners ensure an airtight fit. Panel gaskets on the outer perimeter have no breaks or cuts at the corners. The edge caps on the ceiling and floor panels are foamed-in-place to secure them for the life of the walk-in unit.

The standard door on this unit is 26” wide and comes with a stepped profile that provides a barrier against airflow. Two cam-lift hinges are included with this door and can be installed to open from the right or left. These hinges are field-adjustable to compensate for settling over the life of the walk-in. A spring-loaded door closer is included to make sure the door is not left open accidentally. The door comes pre-hung on a 4’ wide panel complete with a vapor proof LED light controlled by a switch connected to an exterior indicator light, magnetic stainless steel trim, a replaceable perimeter heating wire, and digital thermometer. Items inside are kept secure by the NL 9800 deadbolt handle that comes with an independent key/padlock feature. To keep workers from getting locked inside the walk-in a safety release is included.

To keep refrigerated goods safe temperature from 35°F to 38°F is maintained by the ceiling-mounted RCPB075JC-S-4-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration System. This system provides 6250 BTU/hr of cooling efficiently. The Enviro-Control™ system makes adjusting the temperature inside simple and it will maintain this temperature efficiently, It also allows you to control the defrost timer or manually start a defrost cycle. An automatic condensate vaporizer is included so no floor drain is necessary for installation.
