To achieve an R-value of 25 the 4" thick wall panels of this walk-in are constructed from foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation encased in 26 gauge steel. Both the interior and exterior sides of each panel feature an embossed stucco coating for resistance to corrosion. Male and female rails on either end of each panel make sure the panels fit together while foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners are simple to use to secure everything together. Panel gaskets on the outer perimeter of the panels have no cuts or breaks at the corners. Each ceiling and floor panel has foamed-in-place edge caps that can’t come loose compared to those that are overlapped or mechanically fastened.

This walk-in unit comes standard with a 26” wide door with a stepped profile that servers as a barrier to airflow. The door can have its two cam-lift hinges installed on either the right or left. These hinges are field-adjustable to make sure the door opens and closes smoothly while providing a secure seal. A spring-assisted door closer is included to make sure the door is never left ajar. The pre-hung door comes in a 4’ wide panel complete with magnetic stainless steel trim, vapor proof LED lighting with a switch connected to an external indicator light, perimeter heater wire (replaceable), and a digital thermometer. To keep the contents secure, this walk-in comes with an NL 9800 deadbolt handle with an independent key/padlock feature. To make sure workers never get locked in the interior of the door panel has a safety release.

The temperature inside the walk-in is maintained between 35°F and 38°F efficiently by the RCPB075JC-E-4-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration System on the roof producing 5812 BTU/hr of cooling. Setting the temperature inside the unit is easy with the Enviro-Control™ system. This also allows you to set the defrost timer and activate a manual defrost cycle. For ease of installation, an automatic condensate vaporizer is included to remove the need for drain lines and a floor drain. Outdoor units come with a complete kit to protect the walk-in unit from the elements. A 35 mill white membrane roof material is provided and requires no seaming or gluing, it is held in place with metal trim that secures it to the wall panel with included self-tapping and self-drilling TEK screws.
