The Nor-Lake KODB8766-C 6' x 6' x 8'-7" H Kold Locker is a reliable outdoor walk-in cooler designed to stand up to the elements while providing reliable and efficient cooling that you can depend on.

This cooler is made up of 4” panels making it easy to assemble while providing an R-value of 25. Each panel is made up of 26 gauge steel with an embossed stucco coating on either side for corrosion resistance. The interior of the panel is made up of foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation. To make assembly simple, each panel has female and male rails that overlap each other for a mechanically air-tight design. Foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners make sure that panels lock together tightly for a truly air-tight seal. The corners are protected by a continuous panel gasket that goes around the outer perimeter without any cuts or breaks. The ceiling and floor panels feature foamed-in-place edge caps that will stay in place for the life of the cooler.

The standard door kit that comes with this walk-in unit comes with a 26” wide door. When this door is shut its stepped profile provides a mechanical barrier that keeps the heat out efficiently. The door comes with two hinges that can be installed on the right or left to best fit your needs. The two cam-lift hinges are field-adjustable to compensate for settling and come with a locking set screw. To keep cooling costs low, a spring-loaded door closer is included. The door panel is 4’ wide with the door pre-hung from the factory. A replaceable perimeter heating wire is included as well as a vapor proof LED lighting fixture that is activated by a switch complete with an exterior indicator light, a digital thermometer, and magnetic stainless steel trim. The interior is secured with an NL 9800 deadbolt handle with an independent key/padlock feature. To keep workers safe, the interior has a safety release to make sure they are never locked in.

The ceiling-mounted refrigeration unit is an RCPB050JC-E-0-EV Capsule Pak unit that produces 3654 BTU/hr of efficient cooling that maintains temperatures between 35°F and 38°F. To set and maintain the temperature inside this walk-in the refrigeration system is controlled by the  Enviro-Control™ unit. This is also the interface for setting the defrost timer and can also be used to manually start defrosting. The 35 mill white membrane roof material included with this walk-in will protect it from the weather for years to come. The roof material is held in place by metal trim that is affixed to the side of the unit with self-tapping/drilling TEK screws.
