Super Deluxe Construction

This unit is built to provide maximum support for up to 788 lbs. of kitchen equipment. The front and side panels are made of robust 16-gauge stainless steel to ensure that it can last even in the most stressful commercial settings. The 2 drawers are also made of stainless steel. Each drawer is equipped with an ergonomic handle that makes it easy to open and close the unit.

Spacious Interiors

This refrigerated base measures 47.63” wide and has a full storage capacity of 6.1 cu. ft. Both drawers can accommodate up to (30) 1/6 size pans, or pans with a depth of 4”.  

Optimal Temperatures for Food Preservation

The temperature range for this refrigerated base is 33° F to 38° F. A digital temperature display is mounted in front to make it easy to monitor the interior temperature. To protect the interior from absorbing heat from a range, griddle, or broiler, the one-piece stainless steel top is fully insulated. The entire cabinet also uses foamed-in polyurethane insulation to ensure the cold air stays inside.

Easy Maintenance with Self-Cleaning condenser

The condenser remains clean at all times because of a rotating brush that automatically moves up and down the condenser coil 2 to 3 times every day. This removes dust that may have been drawn in by the evaporator fan and accumulated in the condenser. A fine mesh filter also provides another layer of protection from dust and dirt for the condenser.

Easily Glides In and Out of Narrow Spaces

This side-mounted refrigerated base is a front-breathing unit, therefore not requiring a lot of clearance space for the front of the unit. When you need to move it around, the 5”-diameter casters allow you to roll the unit in and out of its space. If you prefer a stationary base, a set of 6” stainless steel legs is also available at an extra charge.

The Turbo-Air TCBE-48SDR-N uses R290 refrigerant, a specialized hydrocarbon refrigerant that meets the EPA and DOE’s stringent requirements on refrigerant use, ensuring your operations are fully compliant with the agencies’ latest regulations.
