The Turbo-Air TOM-48DXB-N is a self-contained refrigerated merchandiser designed to capture customer attention and bring in more impulse buys. This extra-deep vertical open display unit has generous amounts of space while boasting exceptional cooling capabilities to keep your bottled drinks, fresh salads, sandwiches, and baked goods fresh.
Turbo Air's Open Air Merchandisers and Coolers are built to last and will last for several years in your establishment without issue.
Superior Construction
The Turbo-Air TOM-48DXB-N’s exterior is coated with non-peel, anti-rust black paint to protect against everyday wear and tear. The open front has a front shield and side walls made from safety-reinforced tempered glass for extra protection. The interior is built with 300 stainless steel, a heavy-duty, hygienic option for storing food items. An optional security cover is available for an extra fee.
Plenty of Display Space
At 48” wide and 34 1/4” deep, the Turbo-Air TOM-4DXB-N can accommodate up to 14.9 cu. ft. of food and drink items. The merchandiser includes (4) stainless steel shelves that can be adjusted in height so you can accommodate both short and tall items. Optional price tag channels are available for each shelf at an extra charge.
LED Interior Lighting
To help bring attention to your display, the Turbo-Air TOM-4DXB-N uses bright LED lighting that increases visibility for your food products. LED is drastically more efficient and longer-lasting than fluorescent lights.
High-Density Polyurethane Insulation
This unit is insulated by layers of high-density, CFC-free polyurethane cell insulation to ensure that the cool air stays in the interior. An energy-conserving night curtain is also included to provide a secondary air barrier when the store is closed.
Easy-to-Use Controls
You can adjust the temperature of this unit using a built-in digital thermostat equipped with defrost control so you can remove ice buildup. A solar-powered thermometer provides a convenient way to keep track of the unit’s temperature.
Self-Cleaning Condenser
The Turbo-Air TOM-4DXB-N has a self-cleaning condenser that is equipped with a rotating brush that automatically moves up and down the condenser every day. This protects the condenser from dust buildup that may occur if the condenser is not cleaned of dust regularly.
Increased Air Circulation
This unit features a perforated interior wall and top as well as a standard back-guard to ensure maximum airflow and provide balanced cooling.
LED Advertising Panel
A crystal-clear LED panel is mounted on top of the unit to provide advertising and promotions space.
Environment-Friendly Refrigerant
The Turbo-Air TOM-4DXB-N uses R290, an environment-friendly refrigerant that is deemed safe for the ozone layer. R290 is also far less harmful than other refrigerants because it contributes significantly less to global warming. This refrigerant is in full compliance with the EPA and DOE’s strict new standards on what constitutes environment-friendly refrigerant use.

Two 3/4 HP compressors provide power for this unit. It has a voltage of 115v/60/1-ph.
