The Turbo-Air TOM-W-50SB-N is a refrigerated merchandiser with an open bottom display and a closed top shelf. This two-in-one unit brings two display configurations in one piece of equipment so you can safely store cakes, pastries, and other baked products on the top shelf and grab-and-go items like bottled drinks on the bottom display.

Durable Construction

The Turbo-Air TOM-W-50SB-N features a black exterior covered with a durable anti-rust finish to protect it against long-term damage. The top shelf features a safety-reinforced curved glass front that reflects light spilling from the ceiling to provide maximum visibility for your items. The interior of the merchandiser is made of heavy-duty stainless steel.

Generous Amounts of Display Space

The refrigerated top shelf provides 5.6 cu. ft. of maximum storage space while the bottom display can accommodate up to 8.4 cu. ft. of food and drink items. The unit comes with (2) stainless steel shelves that are corrosion-resistant and easy to clean. Optional price tag channels may be included at an extra charge.

Bring attention to your display with the help of the unit’s bright, eye-catching LED interior lighting. LED is several times more energy-efficient than fluorescent and incandescent lighting, helping you conserve energy and keep your utility costs down.  

Self-Cleaning Condenser

To prevent system failure that may arise due to a backed up condenser, the Turbo-Air TOM-W-50SB-N has a hot gas condensate system with a condenser that cleans itself. The condenser has its own rotating brush, which is programmed to automatically move up and down the condenser coil 2 to 3 times per day. It is also shielded from bigger dust particles using a fine mesh wire filter.

Powerful Polyurethane Insulation

The merchandiser’s foamed-in polyurethane insulation sprayed throughout the interior helps seal cold air inside. The perforated interior back wall of the bottom display also helps promote increased airflow and balanced cooling.

Easy-to-Use Controls

The Turbo-Air TOM-W-50SB-N is fitted with a digital thermostat to let you adjust the interior temperature. A solar-powered thermometer allows you to keep an eye on the temperature while defrost control lets you remove any ice that may have collected in the interior.

Environment-Friendly Refrigeration

This unit is safely and efficiently cooled using R290, a hydrocarbon refrigerant that meets the terms of the EPA and DOE on what constitutes environment-friendly refrigeration. R290 does not carry risks for the ozone layer, giving it a perfect Ozone Depletion Potential of 0. It also has a low Global Warming Potential of 3, making it safer for use than traditional coolants.

This merchandiser runs on a 3/4 HP compressor and has a voltage of 115v/60/1-ph.

• Recommended operating conditions: TOM models are designed to operate in an environment where temperature & humidity do not exceed 75°F and 55% respectively. Units should not be installed near HVAC vents, fans or doorways that will disrupt the air curtain and compromise the function of the cabinet. Air curtain models will run most efficiently when completely loaded with product.
