If you need a semi-automatic slicer that can slice meat, cheese, and vegetables for eight (8) hours straight the Univex 8713S Premium™ Series Slicer should be on your shortlist. The vast majority of establishments only need light-duty Electric Food Slicers. But for operations like delis, some cafes, and sandwich shops a light-duty slicer just won’t cut it. This unit allows you to manually slice more delicate items and automatically slice large-batch items leaving you to attend to other matters. When automatically slicing this unit can produce between 21 and 47 slices depending on the length of the stroke.

This unit can slice square items up to 6-½” x 6-½”, rectangular items up to 10” x 6-½”, and round items up to 9” in diameter. The high-quality low friction 13” German hollow ground stainless steel blade spinning at 300 RPM easily cuts through meat, cheese, and vegetables. This device can produce slices up to ⅞” in thickness. The permanently mounted edge guard makes sure operators are always safe.

The Univex 8713S Premium™ Series Slicer has intuitive to use simple controls that have been designed with ergonomics in mind. Food being sliced won’t spray liquid all over users or the controls thanks to the unique drip tray fence. The liquid is redirected into the concave base where it can be easily wiped away.

The carriage can be easily detached allowing you to thoroughly clean every nook and cranny of the unit. The anodized aluminum body of this unit has a sanitary polish to it which looks great and is easy to wipe down. A built-in sharpener makes sure the blade is always razor-sharp but is easily removed for cleaning.

A powerful ½ HP motor spins the blade of this unit with a reliable belt-driven power delivery system. There are two power options available for this slicer, 115v/60/1-ph at 5.4 amps and 220v/50/1-ph at 2.7 amps. The unit’s overall dimensions are 30-¼” front-to-back, 20-⅞” in height, and 23” in width.
