The Beverage Air WTRD72AHC-2 Worktop Refrigerator provides operators with a dual-purpose piece of equipment that acts as both a worktable and a refrigerator. Aside from providing 17.88 cu. ft. of refrigerated storage in its two drawers and two reach-in sections, this unit has a purpose-built stainless steel worktop that will stand up to daily use in a commercial environment. 

The drawers are easy to reach with painted aluminum handles and glide effortlessly on stainless steel drawer frames supported by telescoping drawer slides. The drawers can fit 6” deep pans for loose ingredients and snap-in gaskets seal in the cool air. To keep users from accidentally pulling drawers out of the cabinet, each drawer has a locking mechanism.

Access to the reach-in refrigerated storage is through two self-closing stainless steel doors that keep the interior cool while minimizing power usage. Each cabinet has two epoxy-coated wire shelves to organize items making them easier to find. Users will find it handy that the doors have a stay-open feature when opened to 120˚ freeing up both hands when accessing multiple items. Magnetic door gaskets make sure an airtight seal is made every time the doors are closed.

Cooling is provided by a bottom-mounted self-contained refrigeration system with a ⅕ HP compressor offering 1350 BTU/hr of cooling potential. Food inside the refrigerator is kept between 36ºF and 38ºF to maximize the shelf life. This temperature is maintained with full electronic control for efficiency. An epoxy-coated evaporator coil will make sure efficient cooling will be maintained reliably for many years. Defrosting is accomplished automatically with a non-electric system, this eliminates downtime while keeping the interior free of frost. The refrigerant used is R290, an environmentally-friendly hydrocarbon that meets all environmental regulations and has a minimal negative impact on the atmosphere.

This worktop refrigerator is easy to move into and out of place thanks to the 6” casters. When in use the locking casters at the front prevent it from moving about. The unit comes prewired from the factory with an 8-foot power cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug set to easily connect it to a standard outlet with 115v/60/1-ph power.
