Powered by a 5 hp motor, the Hobart HCM450C-61 commercial vertical cutter / mixer comes with a 45 qt. capacity stainless steel bowl and a set of two-blade cut-mix and knead-mix attachments, a polypropylene strainer basket, and a stainless steel mixing baffle arm to make quick work of large amounts of ingredients. This bowl has a tilt lever and a pouring lip so you can transfer the finished product into other containers to be cooked or prepared. The base is made of steel with an epoxy enamel finish that looks sleek and feels tough. This unit is engineered for straightforward use, with the push button switches for turning on and off, a five-minute timer for enhanced mixing precision, and hold and jog settings for added convenience and better results, and electromechanical safety interlocks to minimize the risk of accidents.
