The KODB87610-C 6' x 10' x 8'-7" H Kold Locker from Nor-Lake is one of the best ways to quickly expand your business’ walk-in cooler capacity outdoors with a reliable unit that can stand up to the elements.

The 4” thick panels that make up this walk-in have an R-value of 25. This is accomplished with foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation between the 26 gauge interior and exterior sides that feature a corrosion-resistant embossed stucco finish. Each panel has male and female rails that self-align mechanically, the panels are then tightened together with foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners for an airtight seal. Panel gaskets located on the outer perimeter of the corner panels are continuous without cuts or breaks. Edge caps on ceiling and floor panels are foamed-in-place that keep them in place through the life of the unit.

This walk-in unit comes standard with a 26” wide door featuring a stepped profile that acts as a barrier against airflow. The two hinges can be installed on the right or left of the door and include field-adjustable cam-lifts with a locking set screw. A spring-actuated door closer makes sure it’s never left ajar to keep cooling costs low. The pre-hung door comes in a 4’ wide panel complete with magnetic stainless steel trim, vapor proof LED lighting with a switch connected to an external indicator light, perimeter heater wire (replaceable), and a digital thermometer. To keep the contents secure, this walk-in comes with an NL 9800 deadbolt handle with an independent key/padlock feature. To make sure workers never get locked in the interior of the door panel has a safety release.

Cooling is provided by a ceiling-mounted RCPF150JC-E-4-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration System producing 5692 BTU/hr that will maintain a temperature from 35°F to 38°F efficiently.  The temperature is set and maintained efficiently by the Enviro-Control™ included with the refrigeration system. This control system can also be used to start a manual defrost cycle or set a defrost timer. A single piece of 35 mill membrane is included to protect this walk-in from the elements. The white roof material does not need to be glued or seamed into place on the roof, metal flashing is included to secure it to the sides of the walk-in with self-tapping/drilling TEK screws.
