The Scotsman HID312AW-1 Meridian™ air cooled ice water dispenser is a one-stop station that provides touch-free access to water and ice. Infrared dispensing eliminates mechanical moving parts which can wear over time. The infrared system also eliminates a mechanism that could allow dirt and debris to hide. The chewable H2 Nugget Ice this unit produces melts slowly and dispenses without any jams. The integral ice bin can hold up to 12 lbs of the  ⅗” x 5/16” x ⅜” ice nuggets. The commercial ice maker in this unit is rated to produce up to 260 lbs every 24 hours under ideal conditions.

The Scotsman HID312AW-1 Meridian™ commercial ice water dispenser is simple to keep clean and doesn’t require any tools. The Air filter can be pulled out from the side of the unit for washing. Aside from tool-free cleaning of external components, Scotsman includes AquaArmor with AgION™ on key components. AquaArmor is specifically designed to prevent microbial growth.

When Scotsman was designing the Meridian line they clearly had ease of maintenance and service at the top of the to-do list. You can gain access to all major components by removing the front panels. This has the added benefit of not needing to move the unit from where it is installed. An LED readout inside the device informs the service crew of the machine’s status which expedites the troubleshooting process. Scotsman includes a scannable QR code inside each unit. Each QR code is unique to the unit it’s in. Scanning the QR code provides users with immediate access to the unit’s warranty information, parts lists, and manuals. To make sure this ice dispenser will run for many years without issue, the unit uses greaseless bearings which were specifically designed to reduce the need for maintenance.

To create 100 lbs of nugget ice this unit consumes 12 gallons of water and 4.9 kWh of power. Externally this unit measures 24-⅜” front-to-back, 18-¼” in width, and 35” in height.
