To ensure a long product life for the Turbo-Air PRO-50R-N, this refrigerator has an interior made entirely of 300 stainless steel. The exterior front and side panels are also made from stainless steel while the top and back use galvanized steel. This gives the unit a strong, sturdy structure that allows it to last even in the most stressful kitchen environments.

Solid Doors Fitted with Locks for Extra Security

When you need to keep your refrigerated goods away from unscrupulous hands, the Turbo-Air PRO-50R-N is your refrigerator of choice. This two-door unit is fitted with locks for both doors to provide an extra layer of protection for your items. Each of the solid doors has a one-piece magnetic gasket that can be easily removed and replaced. An automatic door pressure release mechanism quickly breaks the vacuum seal formed by the gaskets to help you open the door effortlessly.  

Safe and Constant Temperatures Throughout the Interior

The Turbo-Air PRO-50R-N uses a cold air distribution system to maintain safe temperatures in the food zone. The refrigerator can hold temperatures between 33° F to 38° F, which you can adjust using the crystal clear LED display mounted on the unit’s top panel. The display also allows you to keep a constant watch on the temperature to make sure your food items are stored in optimal conditions. High-density polyurethane insulation is foamed into place throughout the cabinet and the door interiors to make sure the cold air stays inside the unit.

Spacious Interior Accommodates for Your Refrigerated Storage Needs

The Turbo-Air PRO-50R-N’s top-mount compressor opens up a lot of space for the interior to store your goods. The maximum capacity of the refrigerator is 43.4 cu. ft., giving you ample space for your items. The extra-deep cabinet can accommodate full and half-door bun tray racks, with room for full-size sheet pans that measure 18” x 26”. The interior also includes (6) stainless steel shelves, 3 for each section, with the option to add an extra shelf. Energy-efficient, attractive LED lighting lights up the interior to provide good visibility when accessing your items.

Self-Diagnostic System Thwarts Problems Even Before They Occur

Kitchen professionals are busy; you can’t always be looking at the refrigerator to make sure your items are safe. This is why the Turbo-Air PRO-50R-N comes equipped with a smart diagnosing system that continuously looks out for potential problems and executes solutions to prevent system breakdown. When the system senses that the door has been open for a long period of time, it sounds an alarm to notify you that the door needs to be shut. The system also automatically delays the fan motor if it detects a temperature rise in the interior to prevent warm air from being circulated and spoiling your items.  

Hot Gas Condensate System Cleans Itself to Keep Unit at Peak Performance

The Turbo-Air PRO-50R-N runs with Turbo-Air’s signature hot gas condensate system, which is treated with a protective coating that prevents the growth of rust that can happen from exposure to moisture and food acids. The refrigerator’s condenser is also equipped with an innovative self-cleaning system. This includes a rotating brush that automatically cleans dust from the condenser 2 to 3 times per day. This prevents dust buildup from accruing in the condenser and causing a drop in the unit’s performance.

Swivel Casters Allow You to Move the Unit into Place

When you need to pull the refrigerator out for maintenance, you can simply unlock the front casters and pull it out of its place. This eliminates all need to exert muscle effort when you need to move the refrigerator. If you prefer a stationary unit, you can opt for a set of 6” stainless steel legs instead.

Eco-Friendly Hydrocarbon Refrigerant Meets EPA Requirements

The Turbo-Air PRO-50R-N uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, an eco-friendly refrigerant that does not harm the ozone layer and contributes minimally to global warming. In 2017, the EPA and DOE released new rules on refrigerant use, putting down more stringent measures against appliances that use harmful hydrocarbons. R290 is in full compliance with these strict new regulations.
