At the top of the unit, the cold bunker system comes with 30 pans to organize all the ingredients for sandwiches or salads. These ingredients are easily accessible from either side with dual-sided insulated lids. Items in the cold bunker maintain a constant temperature below 41°F to meet NSF requirements, even with the lids open. This is achieved with powerful cold airflow that moves all around the pan area. Both sides of the unit feature a 9-½” deep ½” thick high-density polyethylene cutting board for easy prep work.
A ⅜ HP compressor utilizing R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant provides plenty of efficient cooling. One of the key features that allows this unit to run so efficiently is its self-cleaning condenser. This patented technology from Turbo Air utilizes a rotating brush that regularly cleans a fine mesh filter in front of the condenser, this doesn’t allow dust to buildup which keeps the heat exchange of the refrigeration system free-flowing and running as efficiently as possible.
Standard 115v/60/-1ph electricity is used to power this unit and the outlet it is plugged into must be able to handle its full load of 9.9 amps. A 9-ft long power cable and 4” swivel casters are included.
