The Beverage Air SPED72HC-12-2 Elite Series™ Sandwich Top Refrigerated Counter is an obvious choice for establishments that want to streamline their salad or sandwich production. A dozen easy to access ⅙-size pans inside a refrigerated bunker and two refrigerated undercounter drawers make this prep table an ideal platform for creating salads or sandwiches quickly. There are also two reach-in sections that can hold larger items. The drawers are designed to hold full-size pans up to 6” deep providing the option to store large amounts of prepped ingredients that are used heavily. The reach-in sections provide more flexible storage of larger items. In total, the drawers and reach-in sections provide 20.0 cu. ft. of capacity.

A full-width polyethylene cutting board provides plenty of space to work on sandwiches or salads. The cutting board is secured to the counter but can be removed easily for maintenance or cleaning. The twelve pans are kept between  41°F and 33°F through optimized airflow in the refrigerated bunker. Since the refrigerated bunker does not take up all the counter space, there is plenty of room for additional condiments or ingredients that don’t need to be kept cold.

The interior of the refrigerated reach-in section is made of corrosion-resistant aluminum which is low-maintenance and easy to clean. The door is self-closing to make sure the temperature is maintained without consuming too much power. When handling multiple items, or restocking the reach-in section, the door can be opened to 120˚ and it will remain open.

The drawers were designed for heavy commercial use, stainless steel frames support the telescoping drawer slides for effortless access to ingredients. The drawers feature slides with a locking mechanism to prevent them from being pulled out of the cabinet accidentally.

The self-contained bottom-mounted refrigeration system features a 1/3 HP compressor that provides 1549 BTU/hr of cooling. Environmentally-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant is used and meets all environmental regulations. This unit has a non-electric automatic defrost function, to make sure it’s always running as efficiently as possible.

This unit is configured to use standard 115v/60/1-ph power at 5.4 amps. An 8’ power cable with an integrated NEMA 5-15P plug comes standard.
