The Beverage Air SPED72HC-18-4 Elite Series™ Sandwich Top Refrigerated Counter features four refrigerated drawers, a single reach-in section, and two refrigerated bunkers that hold a total of eighteen  ⅙-size pans. With 20.0 cu. ft. of refrigerated space in the drawers and reach-in section, plenty of additional ingredients can be stored safely. The drawers are designed to hold 6" deep pans if larger amounts of a prep ingredient need to be easy to access and the reach-in sections come with epoxy-coated wire shelves to maximize the use of space.

The worktop includes a full-width polyethylene cutting board that provides an edge to edge workspace. This provides plenty of space to work on salads and sandwiches without taking up any more space than necessary. The cutting board can be removed for maintenance or cleaning. Ingredients and condiments in the countertop bunkers are kept between 41°F and 33°F with optimized airflow to maximize shelf life. 

The refrigerated reach-in section below the worktop has 2 epoxy-coated wire shelves to organize items and make good use of the space. The interior is made from corrosion-resistant aluminum making it easy to clean. A self-closing door makes sure that temperatures are always between 36º and 38ºF without using too much power. To make loading and unloading more items more convenient, the door will remain open when opened to 120˚. 

The temperature inside the drawers is constantly maintained to be between 36º and 38ºF, maximizing the shelf life of food. Stainless steel frames are used to support the telescoping drawer slides for effortless access to ingredients. The drawers feature slides with a locking mechanism to prevent them from being pulled out of the cabinet accidentally.

The heart of this unit is the bottom-mounted self-contained refrigeration system. The ⅓ HP compressor pumps environmentally-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant through the system and provides 1549 BTU/hr of cooling capacity. This prep table has an automatic non-electric defrost system for convenience.

This unit is configured to use standard 115v/60/1-ph power and comes with an eight-foot power cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug set.
