The Nor-Lake KODB87810-C 8' x 10' x 8'-7" H Kold Locker is ideal for enterprises that need a large amount of refrigerated storage space that they can’t contain indoors. 

The 4” thick panels that make up this cooler are made from 26 gauge steel encasing foamed-in-place insulation to achieve an R-value of 25, Both sides of the 25 gauge steel feature an embossed stucco finish for corrosion resistance. The panels fit together tightly since the ends have male and female rails that mate together and secured by foamed-in-place cam-locking fasteners. A continuous panel gasket on the outer perimeter makes sure corners are sealed without cuts or breaks.  The edge caps on the ceiling and floor panels are foamed-in-place to secure them for the life of the walk-in unit.

The door that ships standard with this walk-in unit is 26” wide and comes with a stepped profile providing a barrier against airflow. The door comes with two hinges that can be installed on the right or left to best fit your needs. The two cam-lift hinges are field-adjustable to compensate for settling and come with a locking set screw. To keep cooling costs low, a spring-loaded door closer is included. The door panel is 4’ wide with the door pre-hung from the factory. A replaceable perimeter heating wire is included as well as a vapor proof LED lighting fixture that is activated by a switch complete with an exterior indicator light, a digital thermometer, and magnetic stainless steel trim. The interior is secured with an NL 9800 deadbolt handle with an independent key/padlock feature. To keep workers safe, the interior has a safety release to make sure they are never locked in.

To keep items inside between 35°F and 38°F this walk-in features the RCPB075JC-S-4-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration system that produces 6250 BTU/hr. The temperature is set and maintained efficiently by the Enviro-Control™ included with the refrigeration system. This control system can also be used to start a manual defrost cycle or set a defrost timer. This walk-in will stand up to the weather as the seasons change every year thanks to the white 35 mill membrane roof material. This material is a single piece that doesn’t require any gluing to hold it in place. Instead, the membrane is held in place with metal trim to the wall of the walk-in by self-drilling/tapping TEK screws.
