Expanding your walk-in cooling capacity outdoors is simple with the highly reliable KODB88-C 8' x 8' x 6'-7" H Kold Locker from NorLake . With 318 cu. ft. of total space, this walk-in coolers with top mounted compressor provides operators with options.

Each panel is 4” thick and comes with a corrosion-resistant embossed stucco finish on 26 gauge steel for durability. The interior is filled with EPA-compliant polyurethane foamed-in-place insulation. To make assembly simple, each panel has female and male rails that overlap each other for a mechanically air-tight design. Foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners make sure that panels lock together tightly for a truly air-tight seal. The corners are protected by a continuous panel gasket that goes around the outer perimeter without any cuts or breaks. The ceiling and floor panels on this unit have edge caps that are foamed-in-place rather than mechanically fastened to prevent them from coming loose.

The standard door on this unit is 26” wide and comes with a stepped profile that provides a barrier against airflow. The two hinges can be installed on the right or left of the door and include field-adjustable cam-lifts with a locking set screw. A spring-actuated door closer makes sure it’s never left ajar to keep cooling costs low. Each door comes pre-hung in a panel that is 4’ wide and features a perimeter heating wire that is replaceable. Each door panel also comes with a vapor proof LED lighting fixture activated by a switch that has an exterior indicator light, magnetic stainless steel trim, and a digital thermometer. Products inside are secured with an NL 9800 deadbolt handle that has an independent key/padlock feature. To make sure workers don’t get locked inside each walk-in comes with a safety release.

To keep items inside between 35°F and 38°F this walk-in features the RCPB075JC-E-4-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration system that produces 5812 BTU/hr. This walk-in comes with the Enviro-Control™ unit that adjusts and maintains the temperature inside as efficiently as possible. It’s also used for setting the defrost timer or start manual defrosting. Outdoor units come with a complete kit to protect the walk-in unit from the elements. A 35 mill white membrane roof material is provided and requires no seaming or gluing, it is held in place with metal trim that secures it to the wall panel with included self-tapping and self-drilling TEK screws.
