The Nor-Lake KODB612-C 6' x 12' x 6'-7" H Kold Locker is a great walk-in freezer for businesses that need to upgrade their current refrigerated goods storage to a reliable walk-in unit. The interior of this walk-in has 357 cu. ft. of refrigerated space.

For superior insulation, each panel is 4” thick with foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation that is EPA-compliant. The interior and exterior sides of the panel feature 26 gauge steel with a corrosion-resistant embossed stucco finish. The panels have male and female rails that mate together to ensure proper alignment during installation. Foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners provide an air-tight seal while a continuous panel gasket goes around the outer perimeter without breaks or cuts at the corners. The ceiling and floor panels feature foamed-in-place edge caps that will stay in place for the life of the cooler.

The standard 26” wide door has a stepped profile that acts as a barrier to airflow resulting in an energy-efficient door system. The door is mounted on two cam-lift hinges that can be installed on the left or right of the unit. The hinges are field-adjustable to adjust how the door hangs for smooth opening and closing and can be locked in with a set screw. A spring-actuated door closer is included to make sure the door is never left ajar. Each door comes pre-hung in a panel that is 4’ wide and features a perimeter heating wire that is replaceable. Each door panel also comes with a vapor proof LED lighting fixture activated by a switch that has an exterior indicator light, magnetic stainless steel trim, and a digital thermometer. Products inside are secured with an NL 9800 deadbolt handle that has an independent key/padlock feature. To make sure workers don’t get locked inside each walk-in comes with a safety release.

A temperature between 35°F and 38°F is efficiently maintained by the ceiling-mounted RCPB075JC-E-4-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration System that produces 5812 BTU/hr of heat rejection. This walk-in comes with the Enviro-Control™ system that adjusts the temperature and maintains it efficiently. It can also be used to start a manual defrost cycle or adjust the automatic defrost timer. This walk-in will stand up to the weather as the seasons change every year thanks to the white 35 mill membrane roof material. This material is a single piece that doesn’t require any gluing to hold it in place. Instead, the membrane is held in place with metal trim to the wall of the walk-in by self-drilling/tapping TEK screws.
