The KODB87612-C 6' x 12' x 8'-7" H Kold Locker from Nor-Lake is a great option for businesses that need more refrigerated space than their building can handle and have extra outdoor space on their premises.

The 4” thick panels that make up this walk-in have an R-value of 25. This is accomplished with foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation between the 26 gauge interior and exterior sides that feature a corrosion-resistant embossed stucco finish. The panels that make up the Kold Locker have male and female rails that mate together and foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners secure them tightly. The exterior perimeter is wrapped with a continuous panel gasket without cuts or breaks. The ceiling and floor panels on this unit have edge caps that are foamed-in-place rather than mechanically fastened to prevent them from coming loose.

Kold Locker walk-in units come standard with a 26” wide door, This door is designed with a stepped profile that acts as a barrier decreasing airflow for better energy-efficiency. This door comes with two hinges both of which are cam-lift and adjustable. This allows the door to be easily adjusted over the lifetime of the walk-in as it settles. The door also comes with a spring-assisted door closer to make sure it’s never left ajar. The door is pre-hung in a 4-foot wide panel and features a magnetic stainless steel trim, digital thermometer, replaceable perimeter heating wire, and vapor proof LED light fixture actuated by a switch with external indicator light. Everything inside the walk-in is kept secure by an NL 9800 deadbolt handle with an independent key/padlock feature. To keep workers safe, a safety release inside the door panel makes sure no-one gets locked inside.

The RCPB075JC-S-4-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration System on the ceiling provides 6250 BTU/hr of cooling to maintain a temperature between 35°F and 38°F efficiently. To adjust the temperature inside, the Enviro-Control™ unit adjusts the amount of cooling provided by the refrigeration system. It can maintain the target temperature while minimizing power draw. This is also the interface used for adjusting the defrost timer and manually staring a defrost cycle. A single piece of 35 mill membrane is included to protect this walk-in from the elements. The white roof material does not need to be glued or seamed into place on the roof, metal flashing is included to secure it to the sides of the walk-in with self-tapping/drilling TEK screws.
