The 1TR65A PowerFry3™ Fryer from Vulcan is a great choice for commercial kitchens that need an efficient gas-heated deep fryer that can hold 65-70 lbs. of oil. Naturally, this fryer is ENERGYSTAR® qualified, but it is also one of the most energy-efficient deep Commercial Deep Fryers available.
At the heart of this fryer is the ThreePass™ heat transfer system which looks like the exhaust header on a high-performance car. The bends on the gas tube provide more surface area for heat transfer without needing to burn additional gas in the process. The unique design provides astonishing figures: 72% thermal efficiency and 60% cooking efficiency, much greater than the competition. This fryer also features the SoftStart™ ignition system that reduces the burn rate to 40,000 BTU/hr at startup to extend the life of the oil. To maintain the oil temperature while idle this fryer only consumes 5,083 BTU/hr.
The cooking temperature is easily adjusted with a simple analog knob behind the door which allows for temperatures from 200° to 390°F. This fryer features users selectable fat melt modes and electronic ignition.
The cabinet and fry tank of this fryer is made from stainless steel for durability ad ease of maintenance. To make moving this fryer around for cleaning and maintenance as easy as possible it comes on adjustable 6” casters. For ease of use it also comes with twin fry baskets with plastic coated handles, a tank brush, and a clean-out rod.
A NEMA 5-15P cord and plug are included to connect the fryer to a 120-volt outlet and in total 80,000 BTU/hr of gas input is required.
