If your commercial kitchen needs a heavy-duty countertop hotplate with two burners, the Vulcan VHP212 is an easy pick designed to keep up with heavy use. The individual burners on this hotplate each have 30,000 BTU/hr of heat output(27,500 BTU/hr for LP gas) and can be adjusted individually with infinite heat control valves. Vulcan Commercial Hotplates are extremely reliable and a great addition to any commercial kitchen looking for reliable equipment.
Cleaning and maintenance of the burners are simple thanks to the lift-off design. Pans and pots are supported securely thanks to heavy-duty cast-iron grates. This hotplate features a standing pilot ignition system making it simple to use.
With stainless steel construction for the backsplash, sides, top trim, and control panel, the exterior will easily maintain its looks with simple cleaning for several years. With a full-width crumb tray debris that falls from pots and pans are caught for easy removal when convenient. Even if the surface this hotplate isn’t perfectly level the adjustable 4” legs are easy to adjust. The cooking height of this unit is 12”.
This hotplate requires 60,000 BTU/hr (55,000 BTU/hr for LP gas) of gas input through its ¾” NPT rear gas connection.
