Vulcan 2ER85AF Description
For commercial kitchens that use electric equipment and do a lot of deep-frying, a reliable dual fryer battery like the 2ER85AF from Vulcan is a great asset. This fryer has 85 lbs capacity fry tanks and comes complete with oil filtration that lowers operational costs by allowing frying oil to be used for much longer without detriment to flavor. The Commercial Deep Fryers in this battery are all ENERGY STAR® qualified for efficiency.
The fry tanks are made from 16 gauge stainless steel and the frying oil is heated evenly with 24 kW low watt density ribbon style heating elements.
To easily set the frying temperature, this fryer has a simple solid state analog knob behind the door with a range from 200° to 390°F. For additional convenience, this fryer has electronic ignition and selectable fat melt modes.
This fryer system’s KleenScreen PLUS® filtration system uses a stainless steel mesh to remove most particles. The filtration system is protected by a filter vessel made from 18 gauge stainless steel. If you need to filter out particles down to .5 microns, optional KleenScreen PLUS® filter envelopes can be ordered. Filtration time is kept to a minimum by a ⅓ HP pump that moves oil at 8 GPM.
The stainless steel construction of the cabinet and fry tank make this fryer durable and easy to clean. The 6” legs included with this fryer make it easy to keep level. A pair of twin fry baskets with plastic coated handles are included.
