If your commercial kitchen needs a heavy-duty step-up countertop hotplate with dual burners, the VHP212U from Vulcan is a great option. With an output of 30,000 BTU/hr (27,500 BTU/hr for LP gas), each burner is easily controlled with precise infinite heat control valves. Commercial Hotplates from Vulcan's lineup is always a great option for kitchens that need dependable cooking equipment that will be used day after day in a busy kitchen.
Above each lift-off burner head is a heavy-duty cast iron grate that provides excellent support to pots and pans with minimal obstruction. For ease of use, this hotplate uses a standing pilot ignition system.
The control panel, backsplash, top trim, and sides feature stainless steel for easy cleaning. To make removing crumbs and drips that fall from pots and pans, a full-width crumb tray is included. 4” adjustable legs keep the hotplate level even on an uneven surface with a 16” cooking height.
This hotplate has a ¾” NPT rear gas connection and requires 60,000 BTU/hr (55,000 BTU/hr LP gas) of gas input.
