The GGF1201B4850-T1 Accu-Steam™ Countertop Griddle from AccuTemp is a natural gas heated tabletop model with a 1,150 sq. in. cooking surface with a total heat output of 85,000 BTU/hr. Accutemp has developed an innovative way of providing heat to this griddle that completely different from any other griddle on the market. Their patented Accu-Steam™ system features a hermetically sealed vacuum chamber with pure water inside. Infrared burners beneath the hermetically sealed chamber provide heat and steam is produced. Hot steam rises and evenly heats the cold-rolled 7 gauge stainless steel griddle plate. Other Commercial Griddles on the market use multiple burners to directly heat a thick griddle plate, for even heating they rely on the thermal mass of a thicker griddle plate which has the trade-off of having longer recovery times. On the other hand, for faster recovery times, thinner griddle plates can be used, however accurately controlling the temperature can be difficult as hot spots and cold spots will form.  AccuTemp’s steam solution has near-instantaneous recovery time due to the nature of steam transferring heat to any areas that have started to cool from cooking food.

Temperature is controlled with a digital thermostat that can provide temperatures between 200°F and 400°F. 3 temperature presets can be programmed for convenience, and if you only need a single temperature, a manager mode can be used to lockout temperature control.

A 3-⅞” wide grease trough runs the full width of the cooking surface for easy grease management. Grease is held in a 6-½ quart grease pan for easy removal through a front-accessible drawer.

This Countertop Griddle is extremely efficient and features ENERGY STAR compliance. A 5-foot power cord is included to connect it to a 120v/60/1-ph outlet that can accept a NEMA 5-15 plug. More Restaurant Equipment, Cooking Equipment & Commercial Grills are available.
