If you have a variety of foods on the menu and a hungry crowd to serve on a daily basis, this HDW-1R2 freestanding warming split drawer unit with two (2) drawers is a great way to save time and fulfill orders fast without compromising quality. Each drawer can fit two (2) half-size food pans with excellent insulation from all sides to make sure that the food remains as hot and delicious as it should throughout the day. 

And since this warming drawer unit is made of stainless steel, it won’t show signs of rust or heavy use and it doesn’t require much in the way of regular cleaning besides light scrubbing. The drawers use nylon rollers that smoothly slide them open all the way to allow the pans to be lifted straight out of the slots to avoid spillage, waste, and damage to the equipment. The nylon rollers are also long-lasting and can handle the most challenging environments, so you won’t have to waste time and money having them replaced or repaired.  The vents at the front panels conveniently slide open so you can let more moisture into the warmed food.

Temperature can be set and adjusted via the thermostatic control knobs designed for added precision during operation. There are also dedicated temperature displays and on/off switch for each drawer, which are all arranged on the control panels, which have been recessed in order to prevent unintended adjustments, which are likely to happen in a busy kitchen. If you want to make the operation even less complicated, you can also opt for the model with touchscreen display control.

The HDW-1R2 is mounted on 4" legs and comes with different colors, which can serve aesthetic and convenient food identification purposes when you have multiple food warmers in action at the same time.
