The GGF1201A3650-T1 Accu-Steam™ Countertop Griddle from AccuTemp is a tabletop model with 1.077 sq. in. of cooking space powered by natural gas with a total output of 70,000 BTU/hr. Accutemp developed an innovative way of heating this griddle which makes it different from any other model available from other manufacturers. Their patented Accu-Steam™ system makes use of a hermetically sealed vacuum chamber with pure water inside. Efficient infrared burners heat the water in the vacuum chamber to produce steam. The hot steam rises to evenly heat the cold-rolled 7 gauge stainless steel griddle plate. This is completely different from other natural gas models that use burners to directly heat portions of the griddle plate, for even heating they rely on a thick griddle plate that provides plenty of thermal mass, the downside to this is recovery time can be quite long, and require a lot of heat to be produced by the burners. AccuTemp’s steam solution has near-instantaneous recovery time due to the nature of steam transferring heat to any areas that have started to cool from having food placed on them.

Temperature is controlled with a digital thermostat that can provide temperatures between 200°F and 400°F. 3 temperature presets can be programmed for convenience, and if you only need a single temperature, a manager mode can be used to lockout temperature control.

A 3-⅞” wide grease trough runs the full width of the cooking surface for easy grease management. Grease is held in a 6-½ quart grease pan for easy removal through a front-accessible drawer.

This Countertop Griddle is very efficient and is ENERGY STAR compliant. A 5’ power cable with a NEMA 5-15 plug is included to connect it to a power outlet. More Restaurant Equipment, Cooking Equipment & Commercial Grills are available.
