ICE-O-Matic MFI0800R Description
This Ice-O-Matic Ice Machine has a maximum 24-hour production capacity of 925 lbs of flake ice. This unit requires the use of an RGA0501-HM Remote Condenser unit. To produce 100 lbs of ice the following are consumed, 4.75 kWh of power and 12.0 gallons of potable water. The voltage configuration of this model is standard 115v/60/1-ph at 23.5 amps.
This remote unit operates much quieter and cooler than a self-contained air-cooled model since the condenser is in a different location. In warmer climates, this is great since the cooling system will not be overworked by additional heat load.
ICE-O-Matic designed this ice maker for commercial use from the ground up. Features such as a stainless steel evaporator and auger in conjunction with industrial-grade roller bearings and a heavy-duty gearbox are essential for reliability in applications that require constant ice production. To make sure this ice maker does not damage itself in the event there isn’t enough water being supplied a built-in water sensor will shut it down.
