Specifically designed to handle large ice-making demands, the 48" wide IDT-1500A air-cooled ice machine from the Indigo NXT™ series by Manitowoc Ice has a daily production capacity of 1,688 lbs of full dice ice. This commercial ice machine is engineered to produce 9% more ice compared to older models using 9% less condenser water and 6% less energy.

This cubes ice maker runs preventative maintenance and self-diagnosis regularly on its own to avoid unexpected failure during use. Its new icon-based EasyTouch display connects you to everything you need to operate this unit! From here, you can initiate various ice-making tasks, receive cleaning alerts, and access diagnostic reports for potential issues. This full-dice ice machine also allows you to adjust the volume of ice to produce while the acoustical ice-sensing technology works to make sure you can harvest a consistent amount of ice with cubes that have the same density and thickness.

This is an ice machine head only unit with a DuraTech exterior that is easy to scrub clean, but hard to rust and corrode. The exposed parts of the foodzone are coated with AlphaSan antimicrobial protection so they stay cleaner for longer. You can also install the LuminIce II Growth Inhibitor (sold separately) so you won’t have to worry about bacteria and yeast growth sullying the ice in your foodzone. This Indigo Series ice machine is compatible with excellent accessories including the ChillTech heat exchange system designed to help increase your yield.
