The USE0050A makes clear ice, which is what separates it from everything else in the undercounter range. It is a CrystalCraft Premier unit: 14-3/4"W x 22-4/5"D x 33-1/2"H, up to 45 lb per 24 hours at 70°/50°, 35 lb AHRI certified at 90°/70°, with a 25 lb bin, producing 1.5" x 1.5" crystal-clear square cubes.

A cocktail bar, a hotel suite, a tasting room or a private-dining service buys this for the look of the ice and its melt rate. A large clear cube dilutes a spirit far more slowly than a standard cube because there is less surface area and no trapped air, which is exactly why it is served over whisky and stirred drinks. At 35 lb a day it is a garnish-grade machine, not a service machine — run a standard cuber alongside it for volume.

The AR-2800 water filter is built into the unit, which matters more here than usual: clear ice depends on clean water. Note two compatibility points from the factory record — it does not work with iAuCS or LuminIce, and it needs Manitowoc's Metal Save 00000084 descaler.
