Vulcan 960RX 60'' Countertop Gas Griddle with Thermostatic Controls - 135,000 BTU

If your commercial kitchen needs a countertop griddle designed for heavy use, look no further than the Vulcan 960RX Heavy Duty Gas Griddle. This 60” wide griddle comes complete with thermostatic controls for precise temperature control over the griddle top to make sure cooking is as repeatable and simple as possible. The polished 1” thick steel griddle plate offers plenty of thermal mass to maintain the cooking temperature while distributing heat from the U-shaped burners evenly.

Precise control of the temperature is provided by five control knobs that can be set from 200°F to 550°F to get the results you need. To evenly apply heat to the griddle plate the five 27,000 BTU/hr U-shaped burners are spaced 12” apart. These burners feature manual and electric ignition and to keep users safe it comes standard with a pilot safety valve for each pair of burners.

To make sure this griddle stands up to commercial use it features a fully welded aluminized steel chassis and stainless steel construction for its front, sides, and front top ledge. Grease and crumbs that accumulate on the cooking surface are easily removed with a 3-½” wide trough and stored in two 6 qt. drawers made from stainless steel. To empty the grease drawers they are simple to remove from the front of the griddle.

This griddle is mounted on adjustable 4” legs to make keeping it level easy and its cooking height is 11".

The total required gas input of this griddle is 135,000 BTU/hr through its ¾” rear gas connection. Included with this unit is a NEMA 5-15 plug to connect it to standard 120-volt power.
